In 1958 – 65 years ago, Westrup was founded by the brothers Knud and Troels Westrup. However, constructing seed processing equipment was not new to them. They already had years of prior experience and that experience laid the foundation for Westrup. The two brothers first started building Westrup machines in Troels’ garage and soon realised they had something promising in the making.

Knud and Troels spent hours inventing, developing and building machines, staying up late to meet deadlines. They started small but kept expanding, and soon, they moved their production to Soroevej in Slagelse, Denmark, where Westrup is still located today.

Over time, Westrup has earned a reputation as one of the leading manufacturers of reliable and high-quality machinery for seed conditioning and grain cleaning. It is still an ambition of ours to invent, develop and build machines – just like when we first started.
