FAQ on Belts & conveyors, Screw Conveyors and Elevators

Belt conveyor for seed and grain
  • The elevators are used for vertical transport of bulk materials. Ideal for transporting material from one machine to the next in a processing line.

Advantages: Great for lifting materials straight up; enclosed to reduce dust.

  • Used for moving semi-solid or bulk materials over short distances, usually horizontally or at a slight incline. The auger rotates pushing or pulling the material forward.

Advantages: Compact, enclosed, good for dusty materials.

  • Used for horizontal or slightly inclined transport of bulk or packaged materials.

The continuous belt moves over rollers or pulleys, carrying materials along its length.

Advantages: Long-distance conveying, low maintenance, gentle on materials.
